When it comes to street photography, what helps one photographer differ from the other is what they see and how that translates in their photos. And sometimes it’s not just the subject itself but how other factors, like lighting, shadows and reflections play into the composition as a whole.
This week’s theme of reflections posed a few challenges as one had to be extra sensitive of other elements in the shot, such as the reflective surface, the angle at which one had to shoot without ending up in the shot themselves as well as what added element that reflection gave to the overall photograph. Yet when done right, reflections give way to very experimental results – no photoshop needed.
