Street Photography in Istanbul: Rim’s Lens

By Rim Ismail (Istanbul, Turkey 2011)

“Other than the memories I captured through my lens, there are  the many others I will keep in my heart and mind. Istanbul’s charm helps create this energy with its colorful streets and interconnected culture. The people were more or less receptive to our lenses intruding in their personal space which encouraged me to capture few moments. Out of my 504 photos I was only happy with 20 of them. It’s a start..”

Note: BSP members that attended our most recent Istanbul trip will be sharing a bit about their street photography experience in this colorful city on our blog – and of course, their best photos from the trip. Feel free to comment on their photos and hope they inspire you to visit Istanbul too..
