Street Photography in Istanbul: Nadim’s Lens

By Nadim Kamel - A street vendor dressed in a classical Turkish attire performsa show and hands a young customer some dondurma (Turkish ice-cream).Dondurma is Turkish for "freezing".

“I honestly wish I could share more than the 5 shots I have here. I can’t really say much about the city without sounding like a travel brochure, but I can assure you that the experience was something of substance. Words cannot really describe the colors and sights, so you’re going to have to settle for some photos instead! My favorite shot is the first one, that in some ways summarizes Istanbul for me. A mix of new meets old, bridging out and rewarding those who look to its culture and heritage.” – Nadim Kamel

By Nadim Kamel - Found in a coastal town, fresh fish is available in abundance. Loved the colors here.
