BSP through a “Green” Lens

For the entire month of November, BSP turned green in support of a more “green” Beirut. It’s still a dream, but we’re moving toward change slowly.

For the entire month, we asked photographers to look for green in their surroundings, whether it be the obvious greenery or the more subtle tones among us. Among the “Green” street photos that got posted on our wall, this one by Charbel Saade really stood out and deserves some attention:

There’s something very serene about the way this woman is sitting. She’s obviously aware of the photographer but her expression is lovely. With her arms poised on her lap, she plays with her slippers on the floor. The color contrasts, the composition and background mesh perfectly well together – a sign of well-captured street portrait.
